Using Neenah Solar White cardstock I pulled out my trusty Distress inks. Combo I used today is Twisted Citron, Mermaid Lagoon and Wilted Violet. Tried my best to get a nice dark blend it didn’t need to be seemless since I was going to be cutting them out.
Using the Your Next Stamp Circle Burst stamp set I embossed one of the images over the blended panel and cut them out using the YNs So Many Squares Panel Die. For this card I only used the embossed squares but I am really liking the look of the outside frame. Will definitely be using it for another card. Love when I am able to get more than 1 card from a project.
It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do with all the squares I had just made. I decided on a fun geometric pattern popping all the squares using foam tape for added dimension. A quick birthday sentiment embossed on black card stock popped up on even more foam tape. I added some YNS Gumdrops and some ink splatters on some of the squares which i should have done before I cut all the squares….lol. Sometimes the ideas don’t come quick enough. To avoid getting splatters on the white background I covered the area with post it tape.
Supplies Used:
- Stamps: Circle Bursts , Whatnot Sentiments
- Dies: So Many Squares
- Distress Ink: Mermaid Lagoon, Twisted Citron and Wilted Violet
- Gumdrops
- Cardstock: Neenah Solar White 80lb
Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by today. Hope to see you again soon with another card. Stay safe and healthy
