Hello crafty friends, hope everyone is having a fun weekend. Today I am sharing my cards for Day 15 of the Online Card Classes taught by the awesome Kristina Werner. This is one of my all time favorite techniques Ink Smooshing.
For my two card panels I used Canson watercolor paper and Distress Ink colors Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed , Mowed Lawn and Mermaid Lagoon. I was going for fun spring colors:)
I did leave both panels to dry on there own but if I am inpatient which happens I tend it hit with my heat gun. For my first panel I used Ranger embossing texture paste and the beautiful Simon Says Stamp Daisy Bouquet. Set it aside to dry and the second panel I die cut it with the frame from Mama Elephant All Prettied Up and added ink splatters with White and black ink.
To finish off the cards I used the SSS Thinking of You die and cut it out 2 times with white cardstock and once with black and layered them using Gina connect glue. For my Daisy Bouquet panel I added the sentiment from SSS Greeting Mix 1 and stamped it out on Vellum. I always have a hard time with adhesive on the back of my vellum. Today I tried my mini Xyron Adhesive and covered the entire Vellum sheet. I found that covering the whole vellum she you don’t see the adhesive at all on the back. Added a few sequins for finish off the cards.
