Hello crafty friends, I am working through the Spring Card Camp before the 2nd Spring Class begins on May 6th. Here is my take on Day 17 of the Online Card Class taught Julie Ebersole who I have to say always makes me laugh. So much fun to watch her videos π
I pulled out my very neglected Gansai Tambi Watercolors and painted on Canson watercolor paper. I was not very patient today so hit the panel with my heat gun. I cut out the Painted Hugs die 3 times on Neenah Solar White cardstock and mounted foam time behind the panel.
For my second panel I used the Simon Says Stamp Jumpo Stripes and SSS inks . I am so thankful for the Misti π I needed to stamp these a few times to get them nice and bright. I used the SSS white pigment ink to make the diagonal stripes across the whole panel. After everything was dry I cut out all the strips.
To finish off the panels I added sending sentiment stripes to both cards and surpising myself I didn’t add any sequins. I will definitely be using this technique again. If you have not tried out the Online Card Class please check it out. I have learned so much from this series and they have so many other classes to choose from.
