You are Stronger Than You Think

Hi Crafty friends, it is day 3 of previews for the new release from Your Next Stamp. I am sharing a card I made with the brand new Positive Affirmations stamp set and the Long Stripe Panel Die. Each preview day, YNS will be giving away the stamp sets being showcased. Each individual set will go to a winner based on randomly selected comments left on the YNS blog, Designer’s blogs or YNS IG. Leave all your comments by June 10th at midnight EDT . The winners will be announced on June 11th.

Using dark grey cardstock I cut out a long striped panel, and with 80lb neenah solar white cardstock I used distressoxide inks to make a fun rainbow. The distress colors I used were Abandoned Coral, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Cracked Pistachio, Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint Sketch.

I love the way distress ink reacts with water splatters . I added a few ink splatters as well.

I popped up the stiped panel using foam tape.

I cut up the sentiment from Positive Affirmations so that I was able to spread it out on the panel. Do you ever cut up your stamps. I never used to but when I started I found I got so much more use from my sets. Finish the card off with some fun YNS Gumdrops.

Supplies Used:

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by today. Hope you will subscribe to my blog for furture posts. See you again soon with another cards.

  1. I love this. It is hard to go against the grain, so it is good to be reminded that we are stronger than we have given ourselves credit for.
