Hello crafty friends!! Hope you are doing really well. It is such an awesome time of the year for all crafters……Stamptember is here!! A whole month dedicated to stamping!!! There are lots of new products, fun surprises, and so much more. I am so very excited and super grateful to be a part of Simon Says Stamp’s STAMPtember Blog Party!! It’s not a blog hop, just a very big party with lots of awesome bloggers and Instagrammers. Please check Simon Says Stamps blog page where they will have all the links to these amazing and very talented crafters. Today I am sharing a very fun and super easy card. Hope you like it. A special surprise at the end of this post. 🙂
I used Ranger Heavystock paper. I knew I was going to be adding quite a bit of water and I find this cardstock holds up really well. I blended the beautiful Leaves Wreath stencil using random distress ink sticking fall colors. You can find the list of colors in my supply list below. After I was done I removed the stencil and sprayed the cardstock with water and dried it using the Ranger heat tool.
I repeated the process a couple of more times which as you can tell really intensifed the color in the leaves. Love all the fabulous wicking you get from the distress inks.
n the photo below it shows Vintage Photo but I did change my mind and ended up using Ground Espresso Archival ink. I loved how nice and dark it was and I did end up spraying the card stock one more time and because the archival was permanent only the distress ink reacted to the water. After it dried I used Stampers Anonymous Ledger Script along with Archival Vintage Photo and stamped in random spots.
To finish off the card I added some ink spatters , using the brand new mica sprays from Tim Holtz and stamped thank you so much from the beautiful new XL Greetings 3. Mounted the panel up on SSS black cardstock and the base is Neenah 110lb heavystock. I added a few sequins from a random mix and all done :).
Please head over to Simon Says Stamp’s blog page and check out all the other amazing design team members. So much amazing inspiration showcasing this fabulous release.

Gosh, that looked like a hot mess in the early stages. If I was the creator, I probably would have tossed it, but I see now that one must keep going and finish, because your card is amazingly beautiful!
