Hey friends! I am so super excited to be sharing the Christmas Card I made with the new Tim Holtz Stamptember 202s Stamp Set. This set is so fun with wonderful sentiments. It is definitley a must have. If you are new to Stamptember it is a yearly event at Simon Says Stamp where each day in September they release a new stamp set which is exclusivley callaborated with many wonderful stamp companies. They are one and done and they sell super fast so if you like it I would get it quick.

Mittens in the snow…I stamped all the mittens using SSS Intense Black ink (which is by far my favorite ink) onto Neenah cardstock. Colored all them using a mix of copic reds and warm greys. After I cut them I added some highlights using white gell pen and glitter with spectrum noir sparkle.

I wanted the mittens to look like they were in snow. So I played around with some distress ink combos and found that Stormy Sky alond with Weathered wood worked the best. After I outlined were the mittens were going to be I added Snowfall paste and rock candy on the open spaces.

To finish off the card I waited overnight for all the past to dry and popped up all the mittens using foam tape. Added a fun SSS sentiment strip.

For my 2nd card I wanted to use the Santa along with the Sizzix Trim a Tree which I had sitting in my stash waiting to be used:) The greens were all a mix of green mica sprays and the bobbles were all from scraps and the silver was from Tim holtz Kraft Stock Metallic Classics. I stamped the Santa onto distress watercolor paper and colored it in using a mix of distress inks. For the toy sack I wanted to add a bit of texture so using a scrap piece of denim fabric I covered it with ground espresso and put it on the sack in random spots.

For the background I used Grafix Arts Craft Plastic , placed a mix of distress paint onto my craft mat. Spritz the paint with water and the plastic sheet. The cool thing about this sheet is it can handle heat. I slowly started heating up the paint using my heat tool and watched the magic. Dura Lar can also be used for this technique

After the panel was complete dry I used opaque crackle along with sparkle paste to add on some stars.

I cut down the panel popped up on fun foam and a card base. Added some snow fall on the bottom and layered on all my pieces. This was such a fun card to make. This stamp set is so amazing. Don’t forget to grab yours as soon as possilbe. It is a limited set and you really don’t want to miss out.
